Ignatius is neurosurgery chief at Garoua Regional Teaching Hospital in Cameroon. He is also the chair of the Young African Neurosurgeons Forum, the deputy editor in chief of the Journal of Global Neurosurgery, and co-founder/scientific editor of the Pan African Medical Journal – Clinical Medicine.
